Optima Legal is pleased to announce that its Newcastle office has been awarded the ISO 9001 quality standard.

After passing the British Standards Institution certification assessment with flying colours Optima Legal’s Newcastle office joins the firm’s Bradford office, which was originally awarded its ISO 9001 status in 2000.

Optima Legal’s Head of Compliance, Emma Dimbylow comments:

“ISO 9001 is a mark of assurance to our clients that we operate an effective quality management system.  Our Newcastle office achieved its accreditation in only eight months, which is a fantastic achievement, particularly as no non-conformities were raised. But it doesn’t stop there, our ultimate objective is to achieve the ISO 9001 certification in our Glasgow office too and we will be starting work on this goal shortly.” 

Over coming months Optima Legal will work to imbed the quality management system in its Newcastle office, ensuring that all aspects of its service are proactively and regularly reviewed, that best practice is shared and that the focus is on continuous improvement.
