Our registered office is at Arndale House, Charles Street, Bradford, BD1 1UN. We are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in accordance with the Solicitors’ Code of Conduct 2007 which can be viewed at www.sra.org.uk.

A list of Shareholders and Directors is open for inspection at its registered office.  We use the word `Partner` to refer to a Shareholder or Director of the company, or an employee or consultant with equivalent standing and qualifications.  Only persons designated as `Solicitor`, `Associate`, or `Partner` are qualified Solicitors.

Our partners and employees are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority but a number of our lawyers are also members of other bodies including the Council for Licenced Conveyancers and the Institute of Legal Executives and, in the case of lawyers admitted to practice in our Glasgow office, the Law Society of Scotland.

Insurance

Optima Legal Services Ltd maintains professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the Solicitors’ Indemnity Insurance Rules 2009 arranged by Lockton Companies International, Lockton House, 6 Bevis Marks, London EC3A 7AF. Details of the insurers and the territorial coverage are available for inspection at our registered office.

Quality of service

We are committed to providing a high quality legal service to our clients and customers. As an overriding principle we believe in “Treating Customers Fairly”.   We monitor customer satisfaction in various ways and use feedback to review our processes and improve our service. We operate a quality management system which is certified under ISO 9001:2008. We may record telephone calls for training and quality purposes.

Any client or customer who is not satisfied with any aspect of our service or our invoice should try to resolve this with the partner responsible for the work.

If the client or customer is not fully satisfied with the outcome of the complaint they may refer the matter to the Legal Complaints Service at Victoria Court, 8 Dormer Place, Leamington Spa, CV32 5AE.
