Optima Legal creates 50 jobs in Leeds

Optima Legal has announced the creation of 50 new jobs at its Leeds office, with the majority of roles in the property services department based in The Cube in the city centre. The new roles range from customer service advisors to trainee case executives and team leaders.

The creation of the roles follows the launch of Optima’s legal apprenticeship scheme offering 15 young people the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the legal profession at its Leeds office, and achieve nationally recognised qualifications at NVQ level 3.

David Ashcroft, Optima’s managing director, commented: “Today’s announcement of 50 new jobs not only demonstrates our continued growth but also reinforces our commitment to investing in people and talent. These new roles are key to us being able to offer our clients further legal, process and commercial innovation across our service lines.”

In addition to the creation of 50 new roles, Optima also continues to announce senior appointments as it strengthens its team.  Richard Crisp joined the firm in October as sales director, Craig Underwood, previously of Minster Law has been appointed as legal services director, Amanda Cleworth as training and development manager and Esther Corcoran as head of legal practice, where she is joined by Richard and Craig on Optima’s executive team.
