Optima Legal launches legal apprenticeship scheme


Optima Legal is offering 15 young people from Leeds or further afield the opportunity to get on the first rung of the ladder towards a career in the legal sector.

Working with BPP Law School and Capita Talent Partnerships, Optima will offer young people the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in Optima’s Leeds offices and achieve nationally recognised qualifications at NVQ level 3. Apprentices will also undertake a bespoke legal training programme at BPP’s state of the art law school in Leeds. Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to pursue additional learning and have the potential to achieve qualified solicitor status following further legal training.

Current placements are at Optima’s Leeds offices but future opportunities may exist in Newcastle and London.

Part of the Government’s national apprenticeship scheme, applicants for Optima’s legal apprenticeships should be aged 16-24 and hold 5 GCSEs including English and mathematics. They can apply either via Optima’s website careers page or by going on to the apprenticeship website
