LUCY ELLACOTT

Director of Legal Services and Head of Legal Practice

Lucy is a solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in legal practice, risk and compliance.

Prior to joining Optima in 2017, Lucy established and managed risk and compliance teams within law firms and has experience of working in both SRA and FCA regulatory frameworks. As a Senior Advisor at the Law Society Lucy provided technical support and advice on policy.

At Optima Lucy is responsible for the supervision of all Optima’s service lines. She is also the firm’s Head of Legal Practice ("HOLP") responsible for Optima's regulatory responsibilities, as well as the compliance and governance functions.
